Gilles Tahar who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 6thth minute tested the skills of Dino Zoff when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Dino Zoff took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hocine Bentaala, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gilles Tahar in the 9th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dino Zoff saved Cormoranii -MM- from getting behind. In the 11th minute Qatar Dust Kickers were awarded a corner. Abdellah Kader went to the cornerflag to take it. Mohammed Matoub made a great header on Qatar Dust Kickers's corner, it was just that Cormoranii -MM-'s Dino Zoff managed to reach the ball for a save. Jussef Zemmamouche showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Valer Uduleanu in the 15th minute of the match. Gilles Tahar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Qatar Dust Kickers's Jussef Zemmamouche played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vintilă Hălmăgeanu in the 23rd minute of play. Through an outstanding action, after 24 minutes, Dino Zoff successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Jussef Zemmamouche showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Valer Uduleanu in the 28th minute of the match. David Ologu charged in rather forcefully in the 44th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed David Ologu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Qatar Dust Kickers booed when Cormoranii -MM- was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. David Ologu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Valer Uduleanu to strike the kick off in the second half. The Qatar Dust Kickers fans' excitement grew in the 52nd match minute when Qatar Dust Kickers's Gilles Tahar looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Valer Uduleanu hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. 55 minutes into the match, Gilles Tahar notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Cormoranii -MM-'s Dino Zoff. After some careless play in the Cormoranii -MM- defense, Hocine Bentaala kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dino Zoff. The Cormoranii -MM- fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dino Zoff should have stopped the shot. Gilles Tahar blasted a shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Dino Zoff having to make a save. Gilles Tahar scored 8-0 in the 72nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dino Zoff, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When the match clock showed 75 minutes, the score became 9-0 when Gilles Tahar sped through Cormoranii -MM-'s defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Dino Zoff. Dino Zoff made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gilles Tahar in the 86th minute of play. Jussef Zemmamouche showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eugen Boldur, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. When Costel Diaconu fell near the penalty area in the 96th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cormoranii -MM-'s protests and gave Costel Diaconu a yellow card for diving instead. After 95 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Cormoranii -MM-! There was no doubt that Qatar Dust Kickers were the better team. Qatar Dust Kickers's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
