Carlinhos Batata breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Operário Futebol Clube's Carlinhos Batata played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jose Baldovino in the 39th minute of play. Falckner FC's Severino Gabrio quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Mané Veiga, made in the 41st minute of the game. When İrfan Ilgıt came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the Operário Futebol Clube fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that İrfan Ilgıt couldn't finish the play. 43 minutes into the match, Operário Futebol Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Jose Baldovino came free, but Carlinhos Batata reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Falckner FC's Gianluca Vialli in the 45th minute got a chance for a shot 45th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Operário Futebol Clube's goalie prevented a goal. The Operário Futebol Clube players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Falckner FC were winning 0-4.

After 52nd play minutes Gianluca Vialli shot 0-5, a short shot which went by Carlinhos Batata and just under the crossbar into goal. Gianluca Vialli blasted a shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Carlinhos Batata having to make a save. In the 57thth minute of the game Gianluca Vialli who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Operário Futebol Clube's Carlinhos Batata was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Falckner FC's Gianluca Vialli in the 59th minute got a chance for a shot 59th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Operário Futebol Clube's goalie prevented a goal. In the 60thth minute of the game Gianluca Vialli who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Operário Futebol Clube's Carlinhos Batata was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gianluca Vialli in the 62nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Carlinhos Batata prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 63rd minute Falckner FC were awarded a corner. Olaf Ciempa went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on Falckner FC's corner Olaf Ciempa fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Carlinhos Batata quite easily take care of the ball. Falckner FC's Loco De la Maza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Manoel dos Santos in the 69th minute of play. Carlinhos Batata came out of the goal in the 72nd minute to try and stop a shot by Falckner FC's Gianluca Vialli. But to his dismay, Gianluca Vialli quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-6. Falckner FC made a substitution. Octavio Gorosti replaced Gianluca Vialli. Operário Futebol Clube's Carlinhos Batata proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 78th minute of the match, managed to save Operário Futebol Clube from getting a goal against them. In the 79th minute Octavio Gorosti shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carlinhos Batata saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Carlinhos Batata made an important save on a dangerous shot by Octavio Gorosti in the 81st minute. Octavio Gorosti's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 82ndth minute, Carlinhos Batata skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Carlinhos Batata was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Octavio Gorosti showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-7 in the 84 minute of play. Carlinhos Batata made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Octavio Gorosti in the 89th minute of play. Falckner FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
