After 17 minutes Predador Brasiliense MZBR's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Dennis Contaldi who took care of the corner kick. Dennis Contaldi made a great header on AF CERRADO's corner, it was just that Predador Brasiliense MZBR's Octavian Jähnigen managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 45th minute Jânio Donatello shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arlindo Guedes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 48 minutes into the match, AF CERRADO's goal looked a bit too open when António Sobral came free, but Arlindo Guedes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when António Sobral made the kick off in the second half.
