An unexpectedly hard shot by Juan Jimenez in the 17th minute of play forced Spartans FC's goalkeeper Haroldas Strazdas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Amado Dagorret charged in rather forcefully in the 20th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Amado Dagorret the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 20 minutes into the game, one of Spartans FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Spartans FC's Haroldas Strazdas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Juan Jimenez in the 24th minute of play. Andy Hauser made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hugo Guerra in the 28th minute of play. In the 29th minute, Prospero Moreno hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With his leg Andy Hauser managed to avoid a goal in the 34thth minute, when Spartans FC's Hugo Guerra fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Juan Jimenez took the ball and in the 38 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Haroldas Strazdas. Haroldas Strazdas dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Gurbax Gascon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Haroldas Strazdas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Haroldas Strazdas made an important save on a dangerous shot by Juan Jimenez in the 67th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hugo Guerra in the 73rd minute of play forced San Pablo FC's goalkeeper Andy Hauser to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Spartans FC's Haroldas Strazdas proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 75th minute of the match, managed to save Spartans FC from getting a goal against them. Hugo Guerra sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal.
