Marco Recio was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 24 minutes into the game, Bartosz Lange threw the ball into play from the sideline. Lobo Guará's Berker Başhekim quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Daniel Anaya took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Timos Kazantzou, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 36th minute the ball was on its way in behind BAŞBUĞ's goalkeeper Marco Recio, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Timos Kazantzou received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Daniel Anaya came out and tried to block the shot, but Timos Kazantzou slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 38th minute. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ezequiel Pereira to make the kick off. Ezequiel Pereira could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 52nd minute of the match, but Marco Recio made a huge save. Lobo Guará's Vlad Imperiale quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Bartosz Lange, made in the 54th minute of the game. Ezequiel Pereira got in the 60th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Marco Recio handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. BAŞBUĞ made a substitution.
