In the 46th minute, Sotero Abrea hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 47 minutes, Qi Liang managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Med Gang FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Qi Liang was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Xacintu Ribeiro made a kick off. Med Gang FC's Nils-Erik Jonsson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 53rd minute of the match, managed to save Med Gang FC from getting a goal against them. In the 57th minute, Liam de Almeida got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 61 minutes into the match, Med Gang FC's goal looked a bit too open when Hernando Harroyo came free, but Nils-Erik Jonsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Med Gang FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 61st minute, when Hernando Harroyo scored to the left of an out of position Nils-Erik Jonsson, making the score, 3-1. Luizinho Paranaense took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Uriel Bermudez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Uriel Bermudez in the 80th minute of play forced Atlético Bucaramanga's goalkeeper Luizinho Paranaense to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nils-Erik Jonsson made a fantastic save in the 86th minute, when Bernd Rechmann sent off a good shot on target. In the 88th minute, Uriel Bermudez ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Luizinho Paranaense was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-1. When Uriel Bermudez got free in front of the goal in the 95th minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Luizinho Paranaense was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Med Gang FC had won after a very even match.
