Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Claudiu Bumba in the 36th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Romulo Gelacio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. He Qiang recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Boni Yarman could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 41st minute of the match, but Michele Rieger made a huge save. INDEPENDIENTE FUTBOL CLUB were awarded a corner in the 43th minute after Axenstein's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Norberto Fresco took the corner. INDEPENDIENTE FUTBOL CLUB's Norberto Fresco was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Michele Rieger in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in.
