Through an outstanding action, after 3 minutes, Wasyl Modrzewski successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Pirates of Black Sea's Wasyl Modrzewski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marco van Basten in the 6th minute of play. Michaël Guillot took the ball and in the 9 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Wasyl Modrzewski. Wasyl Modrzewski dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. 12 minutes into the match, Pirates of Black Sea's goal looked a bit too open when Ireneusz Jeleń came free, but Wasyl Modrzewski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 15 minutes CWKS KĘDZIERZYN's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Ahmet Rıfat Reşat who took care of the corner kick. Pirates of Black Sea's Ahmet Rıfat Reşat was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Niculae Romanescu in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 17 minutes into the match, Pirates of Black Sea's goalkeeper Wasyl Modrzewski had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Michaël Guillot. In the 20th minute Michaël Guillot shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wasyl Modrzewski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Pirates of Black Sea's Wasyl Modrzewski got control of the ball when Michaël Guillot tried to sneak it across the goal line. Pirates of Black Sea's Wasyl Modrzewski proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 29th minute of the match, managed to save Pirates of Black Sea from getting a goal against them. Wasyl Modrzewski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marco van Basten, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marco van Basten in the 37th minute of play forced Pirates of Black Sea's goalkeeper Wasyl Modrzewski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Pirates of Black Sea's Ahmet Rıfat Reşat got a free kick in the 39th minute. Wasyl Modrzewski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marco van Basten in the 45th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Michaël Guillot got free with Wasyl Modrzewski in the 47th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ireneusz Jeleń was the one to do the kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ireneusz Jeleń in the 51st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Wasyl Modrzewski prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Velimir Bostandzhiev fell near the penalty area in the 52nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored CWKS KĘDZIERZYN's protests and gave Velimir Bostandzhiev a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Pirates of Black Sea booed when CWKS KĘDZIERZYN was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Velimir Bostandzhiev didn't get a good kick on the ball. CWKS KĘDZIERZYN's Niculae Romanescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dong Xi Jun in the 59th minute of play. In the 60th minute Pirates of Black Sea were awarded a corner. Ahmet Rıfat Reşat went to the cornerflag to take it. Taribo West made a great header on Pirates of Black Sea's corner, it was just that CWKS KĘDZIERZYN's Niculae Romanescu managed to reach the ball for a save. Mateusz Klich hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in CWKS KĘDZIERZYN's zone, Dong Xi Jun stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Niculae Romanescu came out of the goal and Dong Xi Jun tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Pirates of Black Sea's Chris-George Chevalier was substituted for Dong Xi Jun. 71 minutes into the match, Pirates of Black Sea's goal looked a bit too open when Michaël Guillot came free, but Wasyl Modrzewski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 75 minutes into the match, CWKS KĘDZIERZYN's goalkeeper Niculae Romanescu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tommy Dowrick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tommy Dowrick in the 77th minute of play forced CWKS KĘDZIERZYN's goalkeeper Niculae Romanescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Niculae Romanescu made a fantastic save in the 77th minute, when Tommy Dowrick sent off a good shot on target. Pirates of Black Sea's Wasyl Modrzewski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marco van Basten in the 84th minute of play. In the 85th minute, Marco van Basten made a precise shot to the right of Wasyl Modrzewski. Pirates of Black Sea's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. After 89 minutes of play, Pirates of Black Sea's Chris-George Chevalier made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Niculae Romanescu was left in no man's land by his defense there! Tommy Dowrick could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 94th minute of the match, but Niculae Romanescu made a huge save. Niculae Romanescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Chris-George Chevalier, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. CWKS KĘDZIERZYN had played much better football throughout.
