Chris Dhaussy made a great header on Saco FC's corner, it was just that Raureni Academy's Victor Ologu managed to reach the ball for a save. Victor Ologu was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-3. 41 minutes into the match, Raureni Academy's goal looked a bit too open when Peter-Jan De Brouwer came free, but Victor Ologu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

A collision led to Raureni Academy getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Cristinel Tomozei hit a great ball. 53 minutes into the match, Saco FC's Chris Dhaussy broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. In the 55th minute Linus Resentvig shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Victor Ologu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Florin Manu charged in rather forcefully in the 56th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Florin Manu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Raureni Academy's Eliodor Arnăuțoiu got a free kick in the 59th minute. Saco FC's Phillip Glerum played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pompiliu Andrițoiu in the 63rd minute of play. Victor Ologu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Chris Dhaussy in the 70th minute of play. Victor Ologu made a fantastic save in the 72nd minute, when Antonio Alzamendi sent off a good shot on target. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Victor Ologu, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Lucrețiu Domuță's late challenge caught a Saco FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lucrețiu Domuță helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Saco FC booed when Raureni Academy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lucrețiu Domuță didn't get a good kick on the ball. 96 minutes into the game, Peter-Jan De Brouwer cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-8. Victor Ologu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Saco FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
