Avraam Iasonidis made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ismael Baumer in the 3rd minute. Avraam Iasonidis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Amado Ibar, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. But to his dismay, Arnold Lanen quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 14thth minute of the game Amado Ibar who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Club Ahja's Avraam Iasonidis was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 17th minute Tierra del Fuego FC were awarded a corner. Ambrosio Playo went to the cornerflag to take it. Orlando Dabi was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Amado Ibar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Avraam Iasonidis having to interfere. After some careless play in the Club Ahja defense, Ismael Baumer kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Avraam Iasonidis. The Club Ahja fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Avraam Iasonidis should have stopped the shot. With a little luck, Club Ahja's Avraam Iasonidis got control of the ball when Ismael Baumer tried to sneak it across the goal line. Angelino Jolin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Natalio Heli tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Avraam Iasonidis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ismael Baumer in the 30th minute of the match. Avraam Iasonidis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Amado Ibar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Club Ahja's Avraam Iasonidis got control of the ball when Ismael Baumer tried to sneak it across the goal line. Club Ahja's Avraam Iasonidis proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 34th minute of the match, managed to save Club Ahja from getting a goal against them. Ismael Baumer did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 2-1 to the left of a surprised Avraam Iasonidis 37 minutes into the match. With an all-out effort, Tierra del Fuego FC's Avraam Iasonidis threw himself towards the right post 40 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Amado Ibar, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Zdzislaw Wawro charged in rather forcefully in the 41st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Zdzislaw Wawro the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Tierra del Fuego FC booed when Club Ahja was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zdzislaw Wawro didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Tierra del Fuego FC's zone, Angelino Jolin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Natalio Heli came out of the goal and Angelino Jolin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Torsten Sjö hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Sandro Bullock stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Amado Ibar in the 51st minute of play forced Club Ahja's goalkeeper Avraam Iasonidis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 54 minutes, Saturnino Batista mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Tierra del Fuego FC and the Club Ahja players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 57th minute Amado Ibar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Avraam Iasonidis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 58 minutes into the game, Amado Ibar was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Tierra del Fuego FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Club Ahja the free kick. Avraam Iasonidis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Amado Ibar in the 62nd minute of the match. Amado Ibar kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. Tierra del Fuego FC's Angelo Iturri was substituted for Amado Ibar. Thanks to some nice moves Angelino Jolin could shoot a difficult shot in the 75th minute, which Natalio Heli however easily saved by the left post. Sandro Bullock hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. Club Ahja:s Avraam Iasonidis showed great skill when he stopped Ambrosio Playo:s penalty. 81 minutes into the game, Tierra del Fuego FC's Ambrosio Playo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Avraam Iasonidis made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. Club Ahja's Avraam Iasonidis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ismael Baumer in the 84th minute of play. Arnold Lanen could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 88th minute of the match, but Natalio Heli made a huge save. If Angelo Iturri had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the referee ended the match the Tierra del Fuego FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
