An unexpectedly hard shot by Aquiles Gana in the 11th minute of play forced Tierra del Fuego FC's goalkeeper Natalio Heli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 15 minutes into the match, AC Morena's Aquiles Gana sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Natalio Heli narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Dražen Ladić made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ismael Baumer in the 18th minute. AC Morena's Dražen Ladić proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to save AC Morena from getting a goal against them. Dražen Ladić made a fantastic save in the 22nd minute, when Ismael Baumer sent off a good shot on target. After having played for 39 minutes, Aquiles Gana managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. AC Morena's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aquiles Gana was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Aquiles Gana struck a weak shot in the 41st minute. Natalio Heli didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for AC Morena. When Baltasar Francis fell near the penalty area in the 44th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tierra del Fuego FC's protests and gave Baltasar Francis a yellow card for diving instead. Baltasar Francis kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. In the 45thth minute of the game Aquiles Gana who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Tierra del Fuego FC's Natalio Heli was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a little luck, AC Morena's Dražen Ladić got control of the ball when Ismael Baumer tried to sneak it across the goal line.

54 minutes into the match, Tierra del Fuego FC's goal looked a bit too open when Aquiles Gana came free, but Natalio Heli reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Natalio Heli took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aquiles Gana, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 57th minute, Jerzy Piwowarski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Amado Ibar in the 60th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dražen Ladić saved AC Morena from getting behind. The audience was convinced that Ismael Baumer's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dražen Ladić was relentless in the 65th minute of the game. Natalio Heli stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Aquiles Gana's shot from short distance in the 67th minute. Natalio Heli made a fantastic save in the 68th minute, when Aquiles Gana sent off a good shot on target. Tierra del Fuego FC made a substitution. Conrado Florian replaced Enrique Urtats. AC Morena's Dražen Ladić played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rodrigo Pirmin in the 82nd minute of play. A throw-in in the 86th minute of the game was made by Baltasar Francis with Ismael Baumer as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. The supporters of Tierra del Fuego FC booed when AC Morena was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jerzy Piwowarski didn't get a good kick on the ball. 95 minutes into the game, Aquiles Gana cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Natalio Heli was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. AC Morena walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
