The audience was convinced that Marco Erauso's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ronny Westerberg was relentless in the 7th minute of the game. Eric Vandenberge hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. In the 11th minute Gavino Luar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ronny Westerberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Melchester Rovers fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ronny Westerberg should have stopped the shot. The supporters of Loco Team FC booed when Melchester Rovers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eric Pettersson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hector Mateus, 19 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Zhuang Xing Tian made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mårten Abrahamsson in the 24th minute of play. Zhuang Xing Tian showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mårten Abrahamsson in the 25th minute of the match. Melchester Rovers's Ronny Westerberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marco Erauso in the 29th minute of play. 32 minutes into the match, Melchester Rovers's goal looked a bit too open when Gavino Luar came free, but Ronny Westerberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 33 played minutes Melchester Rovers got a freekick which was hit by Claudio Guerrero. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gavino Luar in the 35th minute of play forced Melchester Rovers's goalkeeper Ronny Westerberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ronny Westerberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marco Erauso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 40th minute, Marco Erauso ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ronny Westerberg was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. Zhuang Xing Tian took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mikael Meck, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Melchester Rovers players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Loco Team FC were winning 0-3.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Marco Erauso to strike the kick off in the second half. When the match had gone on for 56 minutes, Marco Erauso took a quick shot and it went in 0-4 without a chance for Ronny Westerberg to make any attempt to save it. After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, Mikael Meck managed to get in a good position for a shot. Melchester Rovers's supporters rose to their feet, but Mikael Meck was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Zhuang Xing Tian breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Zhuang Xing Tian took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mikael Meck, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ian Ekenberg hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. Loco Team FC made a substitution. Emeterio Galindo replaced Ibar Serrana. A collision led to Melchester Rovers getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Ian Ekenberg hit a great ball. Ronny Westerberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gavino Luar, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. Gavino Luar might have been able to make a better finish in the 70th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ronny Westerberg. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gavino Luar ran back to his position shaking his head. With a little luck, Melchester Rovers's Ronny Westerberg got control of the ball when Gavino Luar tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Loco Team FC's Marco Erauso in the 75th minute got a chance for a shot 75th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Marco Erauso in the 81st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ronny Westerberg prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ian Ekenberg in the 82nd minute of play forced Loco Team FC's goalkeeper Zhuang Xing Tian to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Melchester Rovers defense, Gavino Luar kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ronny Westerberg. The Melchester Rovers fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ronny Westerberg should have stopped the shot. With a little luck, Melchester Rovers's Ronny Westerberg got control of the ball when Marco Erauso tried to sneak it across the goal line. Marco Erauso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ronny Westerberg having to interfere. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Loco Team FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
