An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Sousa in the 6th minute of play forced Long Dolby's goalkeeper Jimeno Eate to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 10 minutes into the match, Capibaribe Stars's goalkeeper Thomás Toscano had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Karsten Nelausen. Jimeno Eate showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Sousa, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. Jimeno Eate took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Sousa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 16 minutes, Kurt Fogedby managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Long Dolby's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kurt Fogedby was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 17th match minute, Long Dolby was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Klement Nawrocki to maneuver through the defense. Jimeno Eate showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Sousa, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. The audience was convinced that Daniel Sousa's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jimeno Eate was relentless in the 20th minute of the game. Jimeno Eate made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Sousa in the 24th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gerdt Trettvik in the 32nd minute of play forced Capibaribe Stars's goalkeeper Thomás Toscano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jimeno Eate was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Jimeno Eate showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Sousa in the 45th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Long Dolby's zone, Daniel Sousa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jimeno Eate came out of the goal and Daniel Sousa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Kurt Fogedby made the kick off in the second half. Daniel Sousa received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Jimeno Eate came out and tried to block the shot, but Daniel Sousa slotted it home off the left post making it 0-4 in the 52nd minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Daniel Sousa in the 55th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jimeno Eate prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Sousa in the 56th minute of play forced Long Dolby's goalkeeper Jimeno Eate to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Daniel Sousa in the 58th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jimeno Eate prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jimeno Eate came out of the goal in the 60th minute to try and stop a shot by Capibaribe Stars's Daniel Sousa. But to his dismay, Daniel Sousa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. Capibaribe Stars's Hicham Al Azka was substituted for Daşdämir Albändiyev. Jimeno Eate made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Sousa in the 66th minute of play. Jimeno Eate took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Sousa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jimeno Eate made a fantastic save in the 73rd minute, when Daniel Sousa sent off a good shot on target. Thomás Toscano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leopold Razga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jimeno Eate was out of position in the 82 minute of play, and Daniel Sousa capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Daniel Sousa really showed his touch with that goal: 0-6. 86 minutes into the match, Capibaribe Stars's goal looked a bit too open when Gerdt Trettvik came free, but Thomás Toscano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gustaf Bjarnov in the 87th minute of play forced Capibaribe Stars's goalkeeper Thomás Toscano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 88th minute Daniel Sousa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jimeno Eate saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 90 minutes, Daniel Sousa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Jimeno Eate was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Capibaribe Stars walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
