José Carlos Simões fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without 孔国耀 having to interfere. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Qarabulud La Forgia made a kick off. After a rather tough play, Kåge BF's Linus Åström got a free kick in the 52nd minute. 58 minutes into the match, Kåge BF's goalkeeper 孔国耀 had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tarcisio Reis. 孔国耀 didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 58th minute, which inside left pole to 1-3. Qarabulud La Forgia could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 62nd minute of the match, but 孔国耀 made a huge save. In the 64th minute, Dewa Sundal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Palmeiras's Dudu Capixaba was substituted for Michel Sergipano. When Luke Clist came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the Palmeiras fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luke Clist couldn't finish the play. Luke Clist recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 孔国耀 made an important save on a dangerous shot by Qarabulud La Forgia in the 95th minute. After 96 played minutes Palmeiras got a freekick which was hit by Dudu Capixaba. If Dewa Sundal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dewa Sundal's late challenge caught a Palmeiras's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dewa Sundal helped the player get up and apologised. In the 98th match minute, Kåge BF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dewa Sundal to maneuver through the defense. When the match was over Palmeiras could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Kåge BF throughout the match.
