Magen David's Aksel Medelsheim quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. 21 minutes into the match, Magen David's goalkeeper Aki Pego had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by 范青广. 莫源文 didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Marcus-Vinícius Berg went, in the 25th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Aki Pego made a fantastic save in the 36th minute, when 范青广 sent off a good shot on target. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Magen David's Mariuss Cernītis was substituted for Xano Maaholm. Magen David's Jedaiah Sakhai was substituted for Marcus-Vinícius Berg.
