Lionel Van Den Broek was left in no man's land by his defense there! Timmy Simons recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thanks to some nice moves Joachim Van Der Meren could shoot a difficult shot in the 45th minute, which You Jing Jun however easily saved by the left post. In the 46th minute, Sem De Kelper got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

After a rather tough play, De Keikoppers's Glenn De Smedt got a free kick in the 83rd minute. A collision led to De Keikoppers getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Timmy Simons hit a great ball. You Jing Jun showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joachim Van Der Meren, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. De Keikoppers's Rolf Huveneers was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but You Jing Jun in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
