In the 4th minute, Markus Pakaslahti hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Savon Palloseura's Dinko Bozhev got a free kick in the 7th minute. After 8 played minutes, Bochin club La Palmera's Remigio Mattin shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Lasse Saarelainen came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Bochin club La Palmera reached it. Lasse Saarelainen made an important save on a dangerous shot by Joaquin Montel in the 9th minute. The supporters of Savon Palloseura booed when Bochin club La Palmera was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Oliver Ekblom didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 20th minute Jesus Bizi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lasse Saarelainen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dario Jacindo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Markus Pakaslahti in the 25th minute of play. Dario Jacindo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Markus Pakaslahti, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 33rd minute, Markus Pakaslahti made a precise shot to the right of Dario Jacindo. Bochin club La Palmera's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Bochin club La Palmera's Dario Jacindo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 57th minute of the match, managed to save Bochin club La Palmera from getting a goal against them. Lasse Saarelainen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joaquin Montel, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. A hard shot 65 in the game by Markus Pakaslahti from a close distance when the talented Dario Jacindo managed to make a qualified save. Bochin club La Palmera's players were relieved. Bochin club La Palmera's supporters rose to their feet, but Cristo Mederi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lasse Saarelainen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Joaquin Montel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Bochin club La Palmera getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Xalbador Vigalondo hit a great ball. Lasse Saarelainen stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cristo Mederi's shot from short distance in the 81st minute. Lasse Saarelainen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristo Mederi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lasse Saarelainen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Xalbador Vigalondo, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. Savon Palloseura's Lasse Saarelainen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristo Mederi in the 94th minute of play. Ciriaco Fernanco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lasse Saarelainen having to interfere. The Bochin club La Palmera supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Savon Palloseura's performance. The match ended with a win for Savon Palloseura.
