In the 15th minute, Club Olimpia's Nelson Haedo ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Dida Simon. Dida Simon yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Alfredo Aguilar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bin Costa in the 18th minute of play. Dida Simon didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Nelson Haedo went, in the 21st minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. After a rather tough play, 『E家军』善战者｛上海浦东｝'s 倪天剑 got a free kick in the 24th minute. Raka Hadiman kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. After 28 minutes of play, 『E家军』善战者｛上海浦东｝'s Bin Costa made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Alfredo Aguilar was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Nelson Haedo in the 31st minute of play forced 『E家军』善战者｛上海浦东｝'s goalkeeper Dida Simon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bin Costa in the 34th minute of play forced Club Olimpia's goalkeeper Alfredo Aguilar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alfredo Aguilar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from 曾俊军 in the 37th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nelson Haedo in the 40th minute of play forced 『E家军』善战者｛上海浦东｝'s goalkeeper Dida Simon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If 曾俊军 had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. 曾俊军 was the one to do the kick off. 50 minutes into the match, Club Olimpia's Nelson Haedo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dida Simon narrowly saved just below the crossbar. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bin Costa got free with Alfredo Aguilar in the 69th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 83 minutes into the match, 『E家军』善战者｛上海浦东｝'s goal looked a bit too open when Nelson Haedo came free, but Dida Simon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 84th minute Club Olimpia were awarded a corner. Luís Fernando Duarte went to the cornerflag to take it. Dida Simon came out of the goal in the 88th minute to try and stop a shot by Club Olimpia's Nelson Haedo. But to his dismay, Nelson Haedo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2. In the 92nd minute, Nelson Haedo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dida Simon was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-2.
