Spectators: 170 (Terracing: 128, Seating: 39, VIP seats: 3) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Ramon Ignatius made the kick off which started today's match. Club Olimpia's Alfredo Aguilar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ramon Ignatius in the 5th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nelson Haedo in the 9th minute of play forced El ultimo's goalkeeper Vladimiro Socorro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Club Olimpia's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Luís Fernando Duarte in the 10th minute. Alfredo Aguilar made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ramon Ignatius in the 11th minute. Bernabe Lucero's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Alfredo Aguilar firmly grabbed it by the left post. El ultimo's Vladimiro Socorro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nelson Haedo in the 20th minute of play. Vladimiro Socorro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nelson Haedo's shot from short distance in the 26th minute. 27 minutes into the game, Celestino Nisio threw the ball into play from the sideline. Club Olimpia's Ferdinand Zdraşcu quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Alfredo Aguilar was a little too slow when Ramon Ignatius got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 30th minute. The score was now 1-0. Alfredo Aguilar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luis Bemabe, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nelson Haedo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Vladimiro Socorro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 37th minute of play. Club Olimpia were awarded a corner in the 38th minute after El ultimo's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Luís Fernando Duarte took the corner. Maxime Van Brusselen made a great header on Club Olimpia's corner, it was just that El ultimo's Vladimiro Socorro managed to reach the ball for a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ramon Ignatius in the 44th minute of play forced Club Olimpia's goalkeeper Alfredo Aguilar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Luís Fernando Duarte ran over to the corner to take the kick. 59 minutes into the match, El ultimo's goal looked a bit too open when Nelson Haedo came free, but Vladimiro Socorro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 61st minute Club Olimpia were awarded a corner. Luís Fernando Duarte went to the cornerflag to take it. Luís Fernando Duarte made a great header on Club Olimpia's corner, it was just that El ultimo's Vladimiro Socorro managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 63rd minute Ramon Ignatius shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alfredo Aguilar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alfredo Aguilar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ronald Wu, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. When Nelson Haedo came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the Club Olimpia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nelson Haedo couldn't finish the play. El ultimo's Carlos Alberto Sabóia was substituted for Serafino Ignazio. A collision led to El ultimo getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Eliseo Bernabel hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ronald Wu in the 94th minute of play forced Club Olimpia's goalkeeper Alfredo Aguilar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the referee ended the match the El ultimo players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
