An unexpectedly hard shot by Jorge Luna in the 7th minute of play forced Kroton F.C.'s goalkeeper Alvaro Cirelli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kroton F.C.'s Alvaro Cirelli played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fernando Morientes in the 11th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fernando Morientes in the 12th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alvaro Cirelli prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Alvaro Cirelli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fernando Morientes in the 16th minute of play. In the 17th minute Ronny Simmen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alvaro Cirelli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Matthias Lepage fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alvaro Cirelli having to interfere. Alvaro Cirelli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Francisco Mino in the 23rd minute of play. A collision led to THE ROKERY PIMKIS getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Ronny Simmen hit a great ball. With a little luck, THE ROKERY PIMKIS's Kiran Tomasini got control of the ball when Concetto Donato tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 35th minute Fernando Morientes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alvaro Cirelli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Veli Vefa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 41st minute of the match, but Kiran Tomasini made a huge save. Kroton F.C.'s Alvaro Cirelli played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jorge Luna in the 46th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jorge Luna in the 47th minute of play forced Kroton F.C.'s goalkeeper Alvaro Cirelli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jorge Luna stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ronny Simmen could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 60th minute of the match, but Alvaro Cirelli made a huge save. The corner led THE ROKERY PIMKIS's Alessandro Finotti to fire away a dangerous shot which Alvaro Cirelli despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Kroton F.C.'s Alvaro Cirelli proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 67th minute of the match, managed to save Kroton F.C. from getting a goal against them. Alvaro Cirelli made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jorge Luna in the 77th minute. Jorge Luna struck a weak shot in the 83rd minute. Alvaro Cirelli didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for THE ROKERY PIMKIS. Kiran Tomasini took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristiano Chitarroni, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 87 minutes into the match, Kroton F.C.'s goalkeeper Alvaro Cirelli had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Francisco Mino. Kroton F.C.'s Alvaro Cirelli played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jorge Luna in the 89th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ronny Simmen got free with Alvaro Cirelli in the 90th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 90 minutes of play, THE ROKERY PIMKIS's Ronny Simmen made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Alvaro Cirelli was left in no man's land by his defense there! Alvaro Cirelli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fernando Morientes in the 94th minute of play. THE ROKERY PIMKIS played a much better game than Kroton F.C. and deserved their victory. The Kroton F.C. players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
