Francesco Toldo came out of the goal in the 18th minute to try and stop a shot by Kroton F.C.'s Cristiano Chitarroni. But to his dismay, Cristiano Chitarroni quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Alvaro Cirelli took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Thiago Alcântara, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Francesco Toldo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Veli Vefa in the 26th minute of the match. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ramiro Paul was the one to do the kick off. 55 minutes into the match, Peretu City 09's goalkeeper Francesco Toldo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Concetto Donato. Alvaro Cirelli came out of the goal in the 56th minute to try and stop a shot by Peretu City 09's Thiago Alcântara. But to his dismay, Thiago Alcântara quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. Alvaro Cirelli showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Salvatore Schillaci, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. 68 minutes into the match, Ramiro Paul notched a goal, 2-3, to the right of Kroton F.C.'s Alvaro Cirelli. Alvaro Cirelli was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 75th minute Marco Millrick shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alvaro Cirelli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marco Millrick in the 77th minute of play forced Kroton F.C.'s goalkeeper Alvaro Cirelli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Concetto Donato could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 96th minute of the match, but Francesco Toldo made a huge save. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Kroton F.C. walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
