Veli Vefa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristiano Chitarroni in the 14th minute of play forced La Maquina 9-12-18's goalkeeper Jose Vimaro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Concetto Donato fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jose Vimaro having to interfere. In the 24th minute Natalio Bieito shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alvaro Cirelli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The corner led La Maquina 9-12-18's Dario Gelacio to fire away a dangerous shot which Alvaro Cirelli despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Jose Vimaro came out of the goal in the 27th minute to try and stop a shot by Kroton F.C.'s Concetto Donato. But to his dismay, Concetto Donato quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. 34 minutes into the match, La Maquina 9-12-18's goal looked a bit too open when Cristiano Chitarroni came free, but Jose Vimaro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristiano Chitarroni in the 34th minute of play forced La Maquina 9-12-18's goalkeeper Jose Vimaro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, La Maquina 9-12-18's Jose Vimaro got control of the ball when Veli Vefa tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 43 played minutes La Maquina 9-12-18 got a freekick which was hit by Natalio Bieito. Jose Vimaro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Concetto Donato in the 46th minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Carmelo Vachon stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Kroton F.C.'s Alvaro Cirelli played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Shpëtim Kume in the 52nd minute of play. 52 minutes into the game, Shpëtim Kume cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Alvaro Cirelli was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Natalio Bieito came free with the goalkeeper in the 55th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Alvaro Cirelli could save by the left post. In the 56th minute Johannes Støle shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jose Vimaro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of La Maquina 9-12-18 booed when Kroton F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dedé Messias didn't get a good kick on the ball. A hard shot 65 in the game by Natalio Bieito from a close distance when the talented Alvaro Cirelli managed to make a qualified save. Kroton F.C.'s players were relieved. After some careless play in the La Maquina 9-12-18 defense, Concetto Donato kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jose Vimaro. The La Maquina 9-12-18 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jose Vimaro should have stopped the shot. In the 71st minute, Carmelo Vachon ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Alvaro Cirelli was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. Jose Vimaro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Concetto Donato in the 75th minute of play. Jose Vimaro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Johannes Støle in the 79th minute of the match. Concetto Donato kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. Jose Vimaro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Concetto Donato, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Shpëtim Kume in the 93rd minute of play forced Kroton F.C.'s goalkeeper Alvaro Cirelli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Carmelo Vachon in the 95th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alvaro Cirelli prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
