After a defensive mix-up in Astros de México's zone, Ryszard Pilarski stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Antoni Lopes came out of the goal and Ryszard Pilarski tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 14th minute Feliberto Eyague shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leon Mosiniak saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Antoni Lopes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kryspin Oryniak, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Antoni Lopes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kryspin Oryniak in the 16th minute of play. Mario gool were awarded a corner in the 17th minute after Astros de México's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Florian Duszenski took the corner. It was a well-played corner which CJ Gerrard managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. CJ Gerrard's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Antoni Lopes read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 17th minute of play. Antoni Lopes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ryszard Pilarski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kryspin Oryniak hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. 30 minutes into the match, Kryspin Oryniak notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Astros de México's Antoni Lopes. Antoni Lopes was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Paulo Román could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 33rd minute of the match, but Leon Mosiniak made a huge save. After 38 minutes, Severo Primo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Astros de México and the Mario gool players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 38th minute, Severo Primo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Antoni Lopes came out of the goal in the 39th minute to try and stop a shot by Mario gool's Ryszard Pilarski. But to his dismay, Ryszard Pilarski quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Mykyta Yaremenko took the ball and in the 42 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Antoni Lopes. Antoni Lopes dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. In the 46th minute Kryspin Oryniak shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Antoni Lopes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 47 minutes into the match, Mario gool's goalkeeper Leon Mosiniak had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Julio Quintin.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Kryspin Oryniak to make the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Kryspin Oryniak got free with Antoni Lopes in the 52nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kryspin Oryniak in the 54th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Antoni Lopes saved Astros de México from getting behind. Leon Mosiniak showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paulo Román, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. Leon Mosiniak showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julio Quintin in the 58th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kryspin Oryniak in the 62nd minute of play forced Astros de México's goalkeeper Antoni Lopes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 65 minutes of play Astros de México's Severo Primo was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. The supporters of Mario gool booed when Astros de México was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Severo Primo didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 67th minute, Mario gool's Kryspin Oryniak dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-4. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mykyta Yaremenko got free with Antoni Lopes in the 70th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a little luck, Astros de México's Antoni Lopes got control of the ball when Kryspin Oryniak tried to sneak it across the goal line. Antoni Lopes made an important save on a dangerous shot by Kryspin Oryniak in the 78th minute. After a rather tough play, Astros de México's Feliberto Eyague got a free kick in the 79th minute. In the 80th minute, Feliberto Eyague hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 84th minute Kryspin Oryniak shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Antoni Lopes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ryszard Pilarski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Astros de México's Antoni Lopes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 95th minute of the match, managed to save Astros de México from getting a goal against them. Mario gool's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
