Spectators: 159 (Terracing: 120, Seating: 36, VIP seats: 3) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Youssef Malek took the kick off in the first half of the match. The supporters of Wambalamba FC booed when Revolución Joao FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leandro Bartoli didn't get a good kick on the ball. João Carlos Vianna hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. Olavo Velloso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Brian Finnman in the 21st minute of play. In the 24th minute Leandro Bartoli shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cris Courtois saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aguinaga Casasola made a great header on Revolución Joao FC's corner, it was just that Wambalamba FC's Cris Courtois managed to reach the ball for a save. Cris Courtois made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cuero Ibañez in the 28th minute of play. In the 29th match minute, Wambalamba FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Osvaldo Meireles to maneuver through the defense. Cris Courtois took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leandro Bartoli, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Youssef Malek in the 40th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cris Courtois prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Revolución Joao FC were awarded a corner in the 42th minute after Wambalamba FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Aguinaga Casasola took the corner. An unexpectedly hard shot by Omar Ayon in the 44th minute of play forced Wambalamba FC's goalkeeper Cris Courtois to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rolf Pilgren hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. 46 minutes into the match, Revolución Joao FC's Aguinaga Casasola broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal.

The wind increased when Robin Steckamp made the kick off in the second half. Robin Steckamp's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Olavo Velloso read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 52nd minute of play. Robin Steckamp fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Olavo Velloso having to interfere. A collision led to Wambalamba FC getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Egídio Seco hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Wambalamba FC's Egídio Seco got a free kick in the 57th minute. After 59 played minutes Revolución Joao FC got a freekick which was hit by Alberto Spencer. 62 minutes into the match, Revolución Joao FC's goal looked a bit too open when João Carlos Vianna came free, but Olavo Velloso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Through an outstanding action, after 63 minutes, Cris Courtois successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 65th minute Cuero Ibañez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cris Courtois saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Olavo Velloso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Robin Steckamp, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. Wambalamba FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 69th minute, when Leandro Bartoli scored to the left of an out of position Cris Courtois, making the score, 0-1. Olavo Velloso came out of the goal in the 77th minute to try and stop a shot by Wambalamba FC's João Carlos Vianna. But to his dismay, João Carlos Vianna quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Cris Courtois made a fantastic save in the 80th minute, when Alberto Spencer sent off a good shot on target. Alberto Spencer might have been able to make a better finish in the 83rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Cris Courtois. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Alberto Spencer ran back to his position shaking his head. Cris Courtois made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gavril Stoican in the 91st minute. After 94 minutes of play, Revolución Joao FC's Gavril Stoican made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Cris Courtois was left in no man's land by his defense there! When the final whistle sounded Revolución Joao FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Wambalamba FC.
