Mark Bloom might have been able to make a better finish in the 16th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rubinho de Amaral. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Real Cruzeiro FC's Rubinho de Amaral played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mark Bloom in the 27th minute of play. Vivaldo Carmona recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mark Bloom in the 35th minute of play forced Real Cruzeiro FC's goalkeeper Rubinho de Amaral to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 43 minutes, Mark Bloom managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. JET-M's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mark Bloom was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mark Bloom made a kick off. Mark Bloom fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rubinho de Amaral having to interfere. Mark Bloom might have been able to make a better finish in the 57th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rubinho de Amaral. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mark Bloom ran back to his position shaking his head. Real Cruzeiro FC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Mark Bloom 59 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-2. If Mark Bloom had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mirolyub Radin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. With a little luck, Real Cruzeiro FC's Rubinho de Amaral got control of the ball when Mirolyub Radin tried to sneak it across the goal line. Nikifor Vekov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vivaldo Carmona, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A throw-in in the 74th minute of the game was made by Júlio Arruda with Nelson de Lima as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Mirolyub Radin's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rubinho de Amaral read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 75th minute of play. If Mirolyub Radin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mirolyub Radin blasted a shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Rubinho de Amaral having to make a save. 82 minutes into the match, Real Cruzeiro FC's goalkeeper Rubinho de Amaral had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mirolyub Radin. In the 84th minute Mirolyub Radin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rubinho de Amaral saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of JET-M booed when Real Cruzeiro FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Júlio Arruda didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Mirolyub Radin came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the JET-M fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mirolyub Radin couldn't finish the play. An unexpected shot in the 87th minute by Mirolyub Radin got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Mirolyub Radin did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-3 to the left of a surprised Rubinho de Amaral 93 minutes into the match.
