Erik Thorstvedt was left in no man's land by his defense there! 34 minutes into the game, Ziya Di Maria cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Erik Thorstvedt was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When the match had gone on for 37 minutes, Ziya Di Maria put it in 0-3 from a short distance just to the right of Erik Thorstvedt. Erik Thorstvedt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Américo Oberto in the 43rd minute of the match. Erik Thorstvedt came out of the goal in the 44th minute to try and stop a shot by Buenaventura FC's Ziya Di Maria. But to his dismay, Ziya Di Maria quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. In the 46th minute, Miguel Urane hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Barrikako Herensugeak F.C players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Buenaventura FC were winning 0-5.
