Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Roland Laureys in the 16th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gianluigi Núñez Herrera prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 17 minutes had been played when some careless play by Miraflores's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Julian Jaszcz was slow to take the kick. During this time Katowice i Kluczbork's players had a chance to rest. Arkadiusz Smolarek made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Albano Cordeal in the 21st minute of play. Arkadiusz Smolarek showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Albano Cordeal in the 26th minute of the match. 27 minutes into the match, Katowice i Kluczbork's goal looked a bit too open when Albano Cordeal came free, but Arkadiusz Smolarek reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Dimo Toresano came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the Katowice i Kluczbork fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dimo Toresano couldn't finish the play. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Albano Cordeal made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vanyo Uzunski in the 52nd minute of play forced Katowice i Kluczbork's goalkeeper Arkadiusz Smolarek to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Albano Cordeal's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Arkadiusz Smolarek read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 65th minute of play. If Osvaldinho Lewandowski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 69th minute Vanyo Uzunski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arkadiusz Smolarek saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Arkadiusz Smolarek made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from José Pedro Freitas in the 71st minute of play. Osvaldinho Lewandowski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Gianluigi Núñez Herrera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 77th minute Osvaldinho Lewandowski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gianluigi Núñez Herrera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Albano Cordeal got free with Arkadiusz Smolarek in the 78th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 80th minute the ball was on its way in behind Miraflores's goalkeeper Gianluigi Núñez Herrera, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 82nd minute of the match, Benjamin Mazuste tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Arkadiusz Smolarek saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. When Roland Laureys fell near the penalty area in the 89th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Katowice i Kluczbork's protests and gave Roland Laureys a yellow card for diving instead. After 89 played minutes Katowice i Kluczbork got a freekick which was hit by Roland Laureys. Katowice i Kluczbork's Adelino Bastos was substituted for Roland Laureys. Katowice i Kluczbork's Arkadiusz Smolarek played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benjamin Mazuste in the 94th minute of play. With a little luck, Katowice i Kluczbork's Arkadiusz Smolarek got control of the ball when Albano Cordeal tried to sneak it across the goal line. Many of Miraflores's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Miraflores may have spent more time on the ball, but Katowice i Kluczbork were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
