Freddie Wikander started the match with the kick off. In the 3rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Ekerö IF's goalkeeper Arvin Bollström, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Club Dep. Soc. Rodo were awarded a corner in the 4th minute after Ekerö IF's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Gasteiz Latorre took the corner. 6 minutes into the match, Club Dep. Soc. Rodo's goal looked a bit too open when Mixeil Mix came free, but Jeremy Avellana reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Gasteiz Latorre came up free with the goalie in the 7th minute, the Club Dep. Soc. Rodo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gasteiz Latorre couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gasteiz Latorre in the 14th minute of play forced Ekerö IF's goalkeeper Arvin Bollström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Gasteiz Latorre came up free with the goalie in the 15th minute, the Club Dep. Soc. Rodo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gasteiz Latorre couldn't finish the play. Arvin Bollström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gasteiz Latorre, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 21 minutes Ekerö IF's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Gasteiz Latorre who took care of the corner kick. Salvino Masses kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. Gasteiz Latorre struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Arvin Bollström didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Club Dep. Soc. Rodo. Jeremy Avellana showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aquiles Lizar, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Gasteiz Latorre might have been able to make a better finish in the 29th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Arvin Bollström. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gasteiz Latorre ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 30th minute, Gasteiz Latorre left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Club Dep. Soc. Rodo fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. In the 34th minute of the match Ekerö IF got a corner. Club Dep. Soc. Rodo's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Freddie Wikander ran over to the corner to take the kick. Gasteiz Latorre blasted a shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Arvin Bollström having to make a save. 45 minutes into the match, Gasteiz Latorre notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Ekerö IF's Arvin Bollström. Arvin Bollström was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Club Dep. Soc. Rodo's Cao Kuan Wei was substituted for Marco Aguirre. The Ekerö IF players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Club Dep. Soc. Rodo were winning 0-2.

The wind increased when Anthon Öberg made the kick off in the second half. When Club Dep. Soc. With a little luck, Ekerö IF's Arvin Bollström got control of the ball when Anthon Öberg tried to sneak it across the goal line. Anthon Öberg who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 70thth minute tested the skills of Arvin Bollström when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 71st minute, Anthon Öberg made a precise shot to the right of Arvin Bollström. Ekerö IF's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. 78 minutes into the match, Club Dep. Soc. Rodo's Anthon Öberg sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Arvin Bollström narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After taking down the ball on Club Dep. Soc. Rodo's corner Guto Pirani fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Arvin Bollström quite easily take care of the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Anthon Öberg got free with Arvin Bollström in the 81st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The audience was convinced that Anthon Öberg's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Arvin Bollström was relentless in the 83rd minute of the game. Arvin Bollström was out of position in the 84 minute of play, and Anthon Öberg capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Anthon Öberg really showed his touch with that goal: 0-4. When the match had gone on for 87 minutes, Anthon Öberg took a quick shot and it went in 0-5 without a chance for Arvin Bollström to make any attempt to save it. Anthon Öberg might have been able to make a better finish in the 91st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Arvin Bollström. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Anthon Öberg ran back to his position shaking his head. After having played for 94 minutes, Anthon Öberg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Club Dep. Soc. Rodo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Anthon Öberg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Arvin Bollström had in the 97thth minute some difficulties stopping Guto Pirani's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. The Club Dep. Soc. Rodo supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Club Dep. Soc. Rodo would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
