The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Paulino Estebano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nicu Nichitelea in the 5th minute of play. Juliusz Traczewski who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 15thth minute tested the skills of Mihai Domuță when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 17 minutes into the match, POLI TIMISOARA's goalkeeper Mihai Domuță had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Juliusz Traczewski. In the 17th minute, Niemierich RK 06's Juliusz Traczewski ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Mihai Domuță. Mihai Domuță yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Juliusz Traczewski could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 20th minute of the match, but Mihai Domuță made a huge save. A collision led to Niemierich RK 06 getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Marquez Padolles hit a great ball. Paulino Estebano came out of the goal in the 25th minute to try and stop a shot by POLI TIMISOARA's Adrian Mihăescu. But to his dismay, Adrian Mihăescu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Mihai Domuță made an important save on a dangerous shot by Juliusz Traczewski in the 29th minute. Juliusz Traczewski's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 33rdth minute, Mihai Domuță skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 36th minute, Niemierich RK 06's Juliusz Traczewski dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-1. Juliusz Traczewski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mihai Domuță having to interfere. Juliusz Traczewski didn't miss a given chance and shot in short distance 3-1 via right post in the game's 45th minute. Niemierich RK 06's supporters showed their exhuberating excitement! All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

If Marquez Padolles had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mihai Domuță showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zbigniew Lech, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. Juliusz Traczewski blasted a shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Mihai Domuță having to make a save. If Juliusz Traczewski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Juliusz Traczewski in the 70th minute of play forced POLI TIMISOARA's goalkeeper Mihai Domuță to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mihai Domuță made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Juliusz Traczewski in the 75th minute of play. In the 77th minute Cosmin Harbuz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paulino Estebano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 79 minutes into the match, POLI TIMISOARA's goal looked a bit too open when Zbigniew Lech came free, but Mihai Domuță reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. POLI TIMISOARA's Mihai Domuță played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Juliusz Traczewski in the 80th minute of play. POLI TIMISOARA made a substitution. Jarbas Prestes replaced Mei Yi Xi. POLI TIMISOARA's Taha Tanbek was substituted for Eduard Zgabei. Mihai Domuță made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marquez Padolles in the 90th minute of play. 91 minutes into the match, Niemierich RK 06's goal looked a bit too open when Jarbas Prestes came free, but Paulino Estebano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cosmin Harbuz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 92nd minute of the match, but Paulino Estebano made a huge save. With 94 minutes on the clock, Daniel Psotka commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. After 94 played minutes Niemierich RK 06 got a freekick which was hit by Daniel Psotka. Paulino Estebano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Filip Buculeasa in the 95th minute of the match. Niemierich RK 06's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
