With a couple of smart ball manuevers Facundo Feria in the 19th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hunor Csapó saved Buffalo Timişoara from getting behind. Cipriano Ganix hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. PERSPOLIS's Bela Herrero got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Facundo Feria's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Hunor Csapó was relentless in the 26th minute of the game. 27 minutes into the match, PERSPOLIS's goal looked a bit too open when Ionică Buculeasa came free, but Gianluigi Donnarumma reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hunor Csapó came out of the goal in the 95th minute to try and stop a shot by PERSPOLIS's Cipriano Ganix. But to his dismay, Cipriano Ganix quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-2. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. PERSPOLIS had won after a very even match.
