Venancio Cristofol took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Senio Opazo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 11 minutes SazobaSpor's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Waldemar Okopny who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Unidad de Matanza's corner Yannick Bartz fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Qurban Äsädli quite easily take care of the ball. Clodoveo Orlin hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. Sylwester Burowski came free in the 15th minute and tried to tip the ball over Venancio Cristofol, but to the joy of Unidad de Matanza's supporters the ball hit the crossbar and out. Unidad de Matanza's Nestor Bâru got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Qurban Äsädli showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nestor Bâru, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Nestor Bâru's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Qurban Äsädli read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 24th minute of play. When Nestor Bâru came up free with the goalie in the 27th minute, the Unidad de Matanza fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nestor Bâru couldn't finish the play. 28 minutes into the match, Unidad de Matanza's Nestor Bâru sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Qurban Äsädli narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ni Quan Zhen in the 31st minute of play forced Unidad de Matanza's goalkeeper Venancio Cristofol to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nestor Bâru's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Qurban Äsädli read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 33rd minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nestor Bâru in the 36th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Qurban Äsädli prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Qurban Äsädli stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nestor Bâru's shot from short distance in the 38th minute. After 38 played minutes SazobaSpor got a freekick which was hit by Fernand Genty. In the 44th minute, Nestor Bâru made a precise shot to the right of Qurban Äsädli. SazobaSpor's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. Venancio Cristofol made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jerome Bollaert in the 47th minute of play.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jerome Bollaert made a kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jerome Bollaert in the 52nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Venancio Cristofol saved Unidad de Matanza from getting behind. Qurban Äsädli showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Waldemar Okopny in the 53rd minute of the match. After some careless play in the SazobaSpor defense, Nestor Bâru kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Qurban Äsädli. The SazobaSpor fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Qurban Äsädli should have stopped the shot. Unidad de Matanza's Máximo Kirchner was substituted for Yannick Bartz. In the 63rd minute of the match Lenni Skensved sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Qurban Äsädli skillfully saved the ball. Venancio Cristofol showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Conrado Berart, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. SazobaSpor's Qurban Äsädli played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Máximo Kirchner in the 73rd minute of play. Senio Opazo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Qurban Äsädli showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lenni Skensved in the 76th minute of the match. Qurban Äsädli stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Michal Stehno's shot from short distance in the 80th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Senio Opazo got free with Venancio Cristofol in the 83rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Unidad de Matanza's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Senio Opazo 83 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 5-1. Waldemar Okopny might have been able to make a better finish in the 96th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Qurban Äsädli. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Waldemar Okopny ran back to his position shaking his head. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Unidad de Matanza had won after a very even match.
