The audience thought a goal was coming when Hector Bladi got free with Joonatan Schols in the 8th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Svetlozar Karamihov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Timmy Siggman, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. Joonatan Schols yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-3. 48 minutes into the game, Lando Cueva was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Internacional Pechofrío's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Big Babousa the free kick. A collision led to Internacional Pechofrío getting a freekick after 48 minutes play. Lando Cueva hit a great ball. After the first half Internacional Pechofrío were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Timmy Siggman was the one to do the kick off. Svetlozar Karamihov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Timmy Siggman in the 54th minute of play. In the 72nd minute, Su Qian Cheng ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Svetlozar Karamihov was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-4. In the 77th minute Su Qian Cheng shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Svetlozar Karamihov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Wieslaw Ciborek in the 79th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Joonatan Schols prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Su Qian Cheng recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Su Qian Cheng took the ball and in the 92 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Svetlozar Karamihov. Svetlozar Karamihov dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-5. The audience was convinced that Su Qian Cheng's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Svetlozar Karamihov was relentless in the 95th minute of the game. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Internacional Pechofrío eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
