With his leg Fabio Quintyn managed to avoid a goal in the 12thth minute, when ֆքօʀȶɨռɢ ʊǟɨ ʍʐƈ™'s Piotr Osikowicz fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Matias Čech made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomás Chinto in the 15th minute of play. Húsares were awarded a corner in the 17th minute after ֆքօʀȶɨռɢ ʊǟɨ ʍʐƈ™'s defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Ubaldo Kismi took the corner. Fabio Quintyn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Iker Boruc, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 26 minutes into the game, Húsares's Florencio Ferran nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Matias Čech made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. If Florencio Ferran had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. ֆքօʀȶɨռɢ ʊǟɨ ʍʐƈ™'s Angelo Nunes was substituted for Diguinho Freire. An unexpectedly hard shot by Florencio Ferran in the 36th minute of play forced ֆքօʀȶɨռɢ ʊǟɨ ʍʐƈ™'s goalkeeper Matias Čech to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 38 minutes had been played when some careless play by ֆքօʀȶɨռɢ ʊǟɨ ʍʐƈ™'s defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Ubaldo Kismi was slow to take the kick. During this time Húsares's players had a chance to rest. Ubaldo Kismi made a great header on Húsares's corner, it was just that ֆքօʀȶɨռɢ ʊǟɨ ʍʐƈ™'s Matias Čech managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 41st match minute, Húsares was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Humberto Pacorro to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Húsares's Ubaldo Kismi got a free kick in the 45th minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Florencio Ferran was the one to do the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Húsares's Florencio Ferran sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Matias Čech narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 57 played minutes ֆքօʀȶɨռɢ ʊǟɨ ʍʐƈ™ got a freekick which was hit by Kaká Ferreira. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ubaldo Kismi in the 58th minute of play forced ֆքօʀȶɨռɢ ʊǟɨ ʍʐƈ™'s goalkeeper Matias Čech to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 58 minutes of play, Húsares's Ubaldo Kismi made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Matias Čech was left in no man's land by his defense there! Maksymilian Wydrych sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Iker Boruc's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fabio Quintyn read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 67th minute of play. In the 74th minute of the game Federico Mattin made a throw-in which Iker Boruc played forward. Matias Čech didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Teobaldo Ibon went, in the 77th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-5 was the resulting score. After a rather tough play, ֆքօʀȶɨռɢ ʊǟɨ ʍʐƈ™'s Federico Mattin got a free kick in the 81st minute. After 85 minutes of play, Húsares's Teobaldo Ibon made it 1-6 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Matias Čech was left in no man's land by his defense there! The throw-in from Federico Mattin in the 89th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Húsares's Maksymilian Wydrych. Húsares's Teobaldo Ibon got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 95 minutes into the match, ֆքօʀȶɨռɢ ʊǟɨ ʍʐƈ™'s goal looked a bit too open when Teobaldo Ibon came free, but Matias Čech reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Húsares's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
