The Albins Kamrater fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jan-Åke Jönsson should have stopped the shot. Jan-Åke Jönsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sune Axelsson in the 9th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zhao Yao Ying in the 10th minute of play forced Albins Kamrater's goalkeeper Jan-Åke Jönsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ernst Vikström hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. 15 minutes into the match, Albins Kamrater's goal looked a bit too open when Zhao Yao Ying came free, but Jan-Åke Jönsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jan-Åke Jönsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zhao Yao Ying in the 17th minute of the match. Oldham Athletic's Gösta Brolin was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Jan-Åke Jönsson in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. The supporters of Albins Kamrater booed when Oldham Athletic was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Filippo Bobbio didn't get a good kick on the ball. 22 minutes into the game, Oskar Wiklund was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Albins Kamrater's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Oldham Athletic the free kick. In the 22nd match minute, Albins Kamrater was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Oskar Wiklund to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sune Axelsson in the 24th minute of play forced Albins Kamrater's goalkeeper Jan-Åke Jönsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jan-Åke Jönsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sune Axelsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 30 minutes into the match, Albins Kamrater's goal looked a bit too open when Zhao Yao Ying came free, but Jan-Åke Jönsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jan-Åke Jönsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zhao Yao Ying in the 30th minute of play. Jan-Åke Jönsson came out of the goal in the 32nd minute to try and stop a shot by Oldham Athletic's Sune Axelsson. But to his dismay, Sune Axelsson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Guo Han Di was a little too slow when Krister Rudkvist got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 35th minute. The score was now 1-2. Guo Han Di showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Krister Rudkvist in the 40th minute of the match. In the 41st minute, Zhao Yao Ying ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jan-Åke Jönsson was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. Krister Rudkvist who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 48thth minute tested the skills of Guo Han Di when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After the first half Oldham Athletic were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ernst Vikström was the one to do the kick off. Ernst Vikström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jan-Åke Jönsson made a fantastic save in the 56th minute, when Zhao Yao Ying sent off a good shot on target. Gösta Brolin hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. Zhao Yao Ying sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zhao Yao Ying in the 62nd minute of play forced Albins Kamrater's goalkeeper Jan-Åke Jönsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Oldham Athletic's Sune Axelsson was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 62nd play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Krister Rudkvist in the 67th minute of play forced Oldham Athletic's goalkeeper Guo Han Di to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Zhao Yao Ying's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 69thth minute, Jan-Åke Jönsson skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Thomas Lundberg was slow to take the kick. During this time Albins Kamrater's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Albins Kamrater's Thomas Lundberg to fire away a dangerous shot which Guo Han Di despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 75th minute, Krister Rudkvist managed to get in a good position for a shot. Albins Kamrater's supporters rose to their feet, but Krister Rudkvist was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Guo Han Di breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zhao Yao Ying in the 77th minute of play forced Albins Kamrater's goalkeeper Jan-Åke Jönsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 80th minute the ball was on its way in behind Oldham Athletic's goalkeeper Guo Han Di, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Cristian-Federico Dolić received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Jan-Åke Jönsson came out and tried to block the shot, but Cristian-Federico Dolić slotted it home off the left post making it 1-5 in the 83rd minute. Braulio Hodei could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 91st minute of the match, but Jan-Åke Jönsson made a huge save. Guo Han Di made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Krister Rudkvist in the 92nd minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Valter Abrahamsson in the 96th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jan-Åke Jönsson saved Albins Kamrater from getting behind.
