Spectators: 150 (Terracing: 113, Seating: 34, VIP seats: 3) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Walmyr Salles started the match with the kick off. Walmyr Salles's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 6thth minute, Malcolm Wall skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After taking down the ball on AVAÍ F.C.'s corner Luiz Pombal fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Malcolm Wall quite easily take care of the ball. A hard shot 11 in the game by Walmyr Salles from a close distance when the talented Malcolm Wall managed to make a qualified save. Pauliström's players were relieved. Dario Alegría did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-0 to the left of a surprised Malcolm Wall 17 minutes into the match. If Walmyr Salles had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Through an outstanding action, after 28 minutes, Malcolm Wall successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. With his leg Malcolm Wall managed to avoid a goal in the 32ndth minute, when AVAÍ F.C.'s Walmyr Salles fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Pauliström's Malcolm Wall proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 33rd minute of the match, managed to save Pauliström from getting a goal against them. 33 minutes into the game, Walmyr Salles recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Malcolm Wall. Walmyr Salles showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. Dario Alegría fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Malcolm Wall having to interfere. In the 37th match minute, AVAÍ F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Innocenzio Corales to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Pauliström getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Magnus Björk hit a great ball. In the 39th minute of the match Luiz Pombal shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Malcolm Wall showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Thor Abrahamsson kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. Dario Alegría might have been able to make a better finish in the 44th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Malcolm Wall. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Dario Alegría ran back to his position shaking his head. 46 minutes into the match, AVAÍ F.C.'s Dario Alegría sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Malcolm Wall narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Folke Melin stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Malcolm Wall didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when AVAÍ F.C.'s Walmyr Salles shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 3-0 in the ordered_time% minute. Dario Alegría scored 4-0 in the 56th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Malcolm Wall, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 58 played minutes Pauliström got a freekick which was hit by Folke Melin. In the 59th minute, Walmyr Salles left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The AVAÍ F.C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. AVAÍ F.C. made a substitution. Tarcisio Chaves replaced Luiz Pombal. Malcolm Wall took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Walmyr Salles, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Malcolm Wall came out of the goal in the 80th minute to try and stop a shot by AVAÍ F.C.'s Dario Alegría. But to his dismay, Dario Alegría quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-0. In the 84th minute of the game, Albert Andberg landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. Tarcisio Chaves's late challenge caught a Pauliström's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tarcisio Chaves helped the player get up and apologised. Pauliström made a substitution. Rune Koch replaced Albert Andberg. In the 86th minute, Tarcisio Chaves hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 90 minutes into the game, Alf Hansson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Pauliström's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave AVAÍ F.C. the free kick. Alf Hansson kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. Walmyr Salles recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Malcolm Wall didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when AVAÍ F.C.'s Dario Alegría shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 7-0 in the ordered_time% minute.
