The supporters of Cleytec de Nilópolis RJ booed when SOL was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jarbas Fonseca didn't get a good kick on the ball. Abel Novaes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carlinhos de Brito, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. SOL's Abel Novaes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dário Carneiro in the 12th minute of play. In the last second Mané Viana throw himself and got hold of the ball when Sílvio Luiz Ceresso in the 13thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. 14 minutes into the match, SOL's goal looked a bit too open when Mattias Wennerberg came free, but Abel Novaes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the SOL defense, Carlinhos de Brito kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Abel Novaes. The SOL fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Abel Novaes should have stopped the shot. 24 minutes into the game, Cleytec de Nilópolis RJ's Mattias Wennerberg nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Abel Novaes made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. 30 minutes into the match, SOL's goal looked a bit too open when Mattias Wennerberg came free, but Abel Novaes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, SOL's Cássio Maranhense got a free kick in the 31st minute. In the 32nd minute, Dário Carneiro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. João Augusto Lopes hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. In the 43rd minute Carlinhos de Brito shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abel Novaes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mattias Wennerberg was the one to do the kick off. Abel Novaes made a fantastic save in the 52nd minute, when Mattias Wennerberg sent off a good shot on target. Abel Novaes didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Cleytec de Nilópolis RJ's Mattias Wennerberg shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 0-9 in the ordered_time% minute. Cleytec de Nilópolis RJ made a substitution. Adam Kopacz replaced Carlinhos de Brito. Adam Kopacz showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-11. In the 85th minute Adam Kopacz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abel Novaes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Abel Novaes didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jano Donato went, in the 87th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-12 was the resulting score. SOL's defense didn't have a chance, in the 90th minute, when Dário Carneiro scored to the left of an out of position Abel Novaes, making the score, 0-13. SOL's Abel Novaes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 93rd minute of the match, managed to save SOL from getting a goal against them. Chico de Brito succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-14 in the 95th playminute.
