In the 33rdth minute of the game Arkadiusz Piatek who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cleytec de Nilópolis RJ's Mané Viana was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 35th minute Anier Johans shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mané Viana saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Utopía Muerta FC were awarded a corner in the 36th minute after Cleytec de Nilópolis RJ's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Fermin Martinez took the corner. After taking down the ball on Utopía Muerta FC's corner Fermin Martinez fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Mané Viana quite easily take care of the ball. Mané Viana didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Utopía Muerta FC. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The wind increased when Mattias Wennerberg made the kick off in the second half. Utopía Muerta FC's Mano Hume played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carlinhos de Brito in the 53rd minute of play. Cleytec de Nilópolis RJ's Mané Viana proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 55th minute of the match, managed to save Cleytec de Nilópolis RJ from getting a goal against them. Arkadiusz Piatek charged in rather forcefully in the 56th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Arkadiusz Piatek the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Severo Bermudo replaced Arkadiusz Piatek. After 65 minutes, Severo Bermudo made it 0-3 with a short kick to the right side. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-5 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 92 minutes into the match, Utopía Muerta FC's goal looked a bit too open when Adam Kopacz came free, but Mano Hume reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Utopía Muerta FC getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Severo Bermudo hit a great ball. The Utopía Muerta FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Utopía Muerta FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
