When the match clock showed 3 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Gerardo Lordi sped through Perthes United's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jean-Marie Sanquer. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rayanne Ros got free with Pontus Nordström in the 12th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jean-Marie Sanquer stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gerardo Lordi's shot from short distance in the 16th minute. Fernand Pierrel kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. Jean-Marie Sanquer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gerardo Lordi in the 19th minute of play. Jean-Marie Sanquer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Witomir Pisarczyk, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 27th minute of the match, Armand Mondon tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Pontus Nordström saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. When the match had gone on for 28 minutes, Gerardo Lordi put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Jean-Marie Sanquer. The Santa Margarita fans' excitement grew in the 33rd match minute when Santa Margarita's Gerardo Lordi looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gerardo Lordi in the 36th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jean-Marie Sanquer prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Gerardo Lordi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The Santa Margarita fans' excitement grew in the 45th match minute when Santa Margarita's Gerardo Lordi looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-4 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-4.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gerardo Lordi to strike the kick off in the second half. Gerardo Lordi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 51st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 53 minutes into the match, Perthes United's goalkeeper Jean-Marie Sanquer had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gerardo Lordi. In the 55thth minute of the game Gerardo Lordi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Perthes United's Jean-Marie Sanquer was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Santa Margarita's Mauro Icardi was substituted for Witomir Pisarczyk. Santa Margarita made a substitution. Klaus Mohammadi replaced Gerardo Lordi. In the 58th minute of the match Santa Margarita got a corner. Perthes United's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Enzo Peruxu ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 63rd minute David Celio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jean-Marie Sanquer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mauro Icardi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Jean-Marie Sanquer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mauro Icardi in the 65th minute of play. With a little luck, Perthes United's Jean-Marie Sanquer got control of the ball when Mauro Icardi tried to sneak it across the goal line. Klaus Mohammadi blasted a shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jean-Marie Sanquer having to make a save. Mauro Icardi struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Jean-Marie Sanquer didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Santa Margarita. Mauro Icardi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. With a little luck, Perthes United's Jean-Marie Sanquer got control of the ball when Mauro Icardi tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jean-Marie Sanquer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mauro Icardi in the 89th minute of play.
