Sporting Angola's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ubaldo Goyanes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Tristan Vicente took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ubaldo Goyanes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 13th minute of the game Miguel Cunha made a throw-in which Nikitas Staboulidis played forward. The audience was convinced that Ubaldo Goyanes's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tristan Vicente was relentless in the 21st minute of the game. Tristan Vicente showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ubaldo Goyanes, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. The audience was convinced that Jules Spinelli's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Freddy Sein was relentless in the 27th minute of the game. Les 3 Quilles FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 28th minute, when Claus Wüllbier scored to the left of an out of position Tristan Vicente, making the score, 1-0. In the 33rd minute, Samuel Alves hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 34 minutes of play, Sporting Angola's Ubaldo Goyanes made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tristan Vicente was left in no man's land by his defense there! Freddy Sein showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jules Spinelli in the 38th minute of the match. Bosse Knoll's late challenge caught a Les 3 Quilles FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bosse Knoll helped the player get up and apologised. In the 39th match minute, Sporting Angola was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bosse Knoll to maneuver through the defense. In the 41st minute Rick Grimes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Freddy Sein saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ubaldo Goyanes who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 45thth minute tested the skills of Tristan Vicente when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After a defensive mix-up in Les 3 Quilles FC's zone, Ubaldo Goyanes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tristan Vicente came out of the goal and Ubaldo Goyanes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ubaldo Goyanes made a kick off. After 50 played minutes Les 3 Quilles FC got a freekick which was hit by Samuel Alves. Adam Pyczkowski hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. Freddy Sein came out of the goal in the 56th minute to try and stop a shot by Les 3 Quilles FC's Rick Grimes. But to his dismay, Rick Grimes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Tristan Vicente showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ubaldo Goyanes, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. Ubaldo Goyanes took the ball and in the 63 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tristan Vicente. Tristan Vicente dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. Jules Spinelli fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Freddy Sein having to interfere. Les 3 Quilles FC made a substitution. Enzo Martino replaced Özcan Sulasi. Sporting Angola's Tekin Kutlar was substituted for Bosse Knoll. Sporting Angola's Tomas Gartzen was substituted for Ubaldo Goyanes. Les 3 Quilles FC's Éric Contreras was substituted for Aílton Zonta. Sporting Angola's Şenol Yazıcı was substituted for Nikitas Staboulidis. Freddy Sein took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jules Spinelli, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tristan Vicente made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Gartzen in the 85th minute of play. A collision led to Les 3 Quilles FC getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Bruce Campbell hit a great ball. In the 91st minute of the match, Bruce Campbell got a very nice opportunity to score, but Freddy Sein was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. If Jules Spinelli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Les 3 Quilles FC's Tristan Vicente played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tekin Kutlar in the 94th minute of play. Les 3 Quilles FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
