The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Eduardo Martini took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rick Grimes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Les 3 Quilles FC's Tristan Vicente got control of the ball when Anísio Azevedo tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to CLAYMORE COUNTRY getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Félix Dobó hit a great ball. Jules Spinelli received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Eduardo Martini tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Eduardo Martini came out of the goal in the 11th minute to try and stop a shot by Les 3 Quilles FC's Bruce Campbell. But to his dismay, Bruce Campbell quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 16th minute Bruce Campbell shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eduardo Martini saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Les 3 Quilles FC's Tristan Vicente proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to save Les 3 Quilles FC from getting a goal against them. Eduardo Martini made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jules Spinelli in the 22nd minute of play. In the 25th minute Bruce Campbell shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eduardo Martini saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Enzo Martino hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. Tristan Vicente acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 46th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Anísio Azevedo. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The wind increased when Gilbert Bonsaint made the kick off in the second half. Lu Yuan Chen might have been able to make a better finish in the 53rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tristan Vicente. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Lu Yuan Chen ran back to his position shaking his head. Tristan Vicente showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lu Yuan Chen, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Tristan Vicente showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lu Yuan Chen in the 59th minute of the match. Bruce Campbell sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. CLAYMORE COUNTRY made a substitution. Éric Contreras replaced Özcan Sulasi. 75 minutes into the match, Les 3 Quilles FC's goal looked a bit too open when Gilbert Bonsaint came free, but Tristan Vicente reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 77 minutes into the game, Zbyszek Kapelski was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Les 3 Quilles FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave CLAYMORE COUNTRY the free kick. After a rather tough play, Les 3 Quilles FC's Zbyszek Kapelski got a free kick in the 79th minute. When Dusty Amireau came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the CLAYMORE COUNTRY fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dusty Amireau couldn't finish the play. Les 3 Quilles FC's Tristan Vicente played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anísio Azevedo in the 84th minute of play. In the 89th minute, Dusty Amireau made a precise shot to the right of Tristan Vicente. Les 3 Quilles FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. After having played for 93 minutes, Gilbert Bonsaint managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. CLAYMORE COUNTRY's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gilbert Bonsaint was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Zbyszek Kapelski struck a weak shot in the 94th minute. Eduardo Martini didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Les 3 Quilles FC. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The CLAYMORE COUNTRY fans cheered their team off the field, for while Les 3 Quilles FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
