Ernesto Fe made an important save on a dangerous shot by Yan Santana in the 6th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Candido Garin in the 11th minute of play forced Cambotinha EC's goalkeeper Claudinho Azevedo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 12 minutes into the match, Cambotinha EC's goal looked a bit too open when Ubaldo Gonzales came free, but Claudinho Azevedo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cavallino Rampante II's Ubaldo Gonzales got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ernesto Fe stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Léo Souto's shot from short distance in the 17th minute. Cavallino Rampante II's Ernesto Fe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Léo Souto in the 19th minute of play. Cambotinha EC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Falcão Novaes in the 20th minute. The corner led Cambotinha EC's Falcão Novaes to fire away a dangerous shot which Ernesto Fe despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Claudinho Azevedo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ubaldo Gonzales in the 24th minute of play. Claudinho Azevedo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ivo Oja in the 26th minute of play. In the 35th minute, Ubaldo Gonzales made a precise shot to the right of Claudinho Azevedo. Cambotinha EC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. After 38 minutes of play, Cavallino Rampante II's Ubaldo Gonzales made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Claudinho Azevedo was left in no man's land by his defense there! Léo Souto struck a weak shot in the 41st minute. Ernesto Fe didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cambotinha EC. Léo Souto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Ernesto Fe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After the first half Cavallino Rampante II were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ivo Oja to strike the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Cambotinha EC booed when Cavallino Rampante II was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ivo Oja didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 55th minute the ball was on its way in behind Cavallino Rampante II's goalkeeper Ernesto Fe, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Léo Souto in the 57th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ernesto Fe prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Claudinho Azevedo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ivo Oja in the 58th minute. Claudinho Azevedo made a fantastic save in the 61st minute, when Ivo Oja sent off a good shot on target. After a defensive mix-up in Cavallino Rampante II's zone, Léo Souto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ernesto Fe came out of the goal and Léo Souto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Léo Souto in the 63rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ernesto Fe saved Cavallino Rampante II from getting behind. In the 64th minute Cambotinha EC were awarded a corner. Falcão Novaes went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Francisco Queirós got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Ernesto Fe quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Léo Souto in the 67th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ernesto Fe prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 71 minutes into the match, Cambotinha EC's goal looked a bit too open when Candido Garin came free, but Claudinho Azevedo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Cavallino Rampante II's Candido Garin, in the 71st minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Cavallino Rampante II. Cavallino Rampante II's Fabian Jarosiewicz was substituted for Candido Garin. Ernesto Fe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Léo Souto, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Léo Souto in the 76th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ernesto Fe prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 78th match minute, Cambotinha EC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alberto Talló to maneuver through the defense. In the 80th minute of the match Jonas Olivar sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Claudinho Azevedo skillfully saved the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ivo Oja got free with Claudinho Azevedo in the 82nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 84 minutes into the match, Cambotinha EC's goalkeeper Claudinho Azevedo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fabian Jarosiewicz. Fabian Jarosiewicz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 86th minute of the match, but Claudinho Azevedo made a huge save. Claudinho Azevedo made a fantastic save in the 88th minute, when Ivo Oja sent off a good shot on target. With a little luck, Cambotinha EC's Claudinho Azevedo got control of the ball when Fabian Jarosiewicz tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 94 played minutes Cambotinha EC got a freekick which was hit by Yan Santana. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Cavallino Rampante II eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
