In the 9th minute, FC MCM's Cătălin Agulescu ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Carlos Baptista. Carlos Baptista yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. The supporters of ЧΙ ƝƖ̇ƘƠMЄƊƖ̇ƛ ƑƘ booed when FC MCM was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Daniel Ciolofan didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 13th minute Ersen Bumba shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Călin Prunaru saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Pau Novo got free with Carlos Baptista in the 15th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ersen Bumba might have been able to make a better finish in the 19th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Călin Prunaru. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ersen Bumba ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 19th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC MCM's goalkeeper Călin Prunaru, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 20 minutes into the match, ЧΙ ƝƖ̇ƘƠMЄƊƖ̇ƛ ƑƘ's goal looked a bit too open when Adrian Isbășoiu came free, but Carlos Baptista reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Carlos Baptista showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cătălin Agulescu in the 27th minute of the match. Călin Prunaru stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ersen Bumba's shot from short distance in the 32nd minute. 36 minutes into the match, ЧΙ ƝƖ̇ƘƠMЄƊƖ̇ƛ ƑƘ's goal looked a bit too open when Pau Novo came free, but Carlos Baptista reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 41 minutes into the match, ЧΙ ƝƖ̇ƘƠMЄƊƖ̇ƛ ƑƘ's Ersen Bumba sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Călin Prunaru narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 41 minutes into the game, ЧΙ ƝƖ̇ƘƠMЄƊƖ̇ƛ ƑƘ's Ersen Bumba nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ersen Bumba made a kick off. Adrian Isbășoiu took the ball and in the 55 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Carlos Baptista. Carlos Baptista dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Carlos Baptista showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Viktor Axelsson in the 58th minute of the match. If Ersen Bumba had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Călin Prunaru made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ersen Bumba in the 60th minute of play. Ersen Bumba could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 65th minute of the match, but Călin Prunaru made a huge save. ЧΙ ƝƖ̇ƘƠMЄƊƖ̇ƛ ƑƘ's Carlos Baptista played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Viktor Axelsson in the 68th minute of play. FC MCM's Radomil Redisz was substituted for Cătălin Agulescu. FC MCM's Vali Cârnu was substituted for Viktor Axelsson. In the 70th match minute, ЧΙ ƝƖ̇ƘƠMЄƊƖ̇ƛ ƑƘ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Burak Demirsoy to maneuver through the defense. In the 72nd match minute, FC MCM was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cristi Maniu to maneuver through the defense. Călin Prunaru took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ersen Bumba, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Călin Prunaru showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aras Uçkan, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. In the 90th minute Adrian Isbășoiu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carlos Baptista saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the referee ended the match the FC MCM players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
