Dieter Breves's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nicolas Joey read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 3rd minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Edgar Lang in the 6th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nuşirävan Cäbrayilov prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some careless play in the FC ARK CS defense, Dieter Breves kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Nicolas Joey. The FC ARK CS fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nicolas Joey should have stopped the shot. 13 minutes into the match, Dieter Breves had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Nicolas Joey. FC ARK CS's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dieter Breves was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Nuşirävan Cäbrayilov was out of position in the 18 minute of play, and Barry Charles capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Barry Charles really showed his touch with that goal: 1-2. Nicolas Joey made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dieter Breves in the 22nd minute of play. Nuşirävan Cäbrayilov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edgar Lang, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edgar Lang in the 25th minute of play forced LKS Do Bigosu's goalkeeper Nuşirävan Cäbrayilov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 31 minutes into the match, LKS Do Bigosu's Dieter Breves sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Nicolas Joey narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Sammy Corcoran who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 35thth minute tested the skills of Nuşirävan Cäbrayilov when he managed to save the team from getting behind. FC ARK CS's Nicolas Joey played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dieter Breves in the 38th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Dieter Breves's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Nicolas Joey was relentless in the 47th minute of the game. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

After 57 minutes FC ARK CS's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Joaquin Isoba who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Joaquin Isoba almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but FC ARK CS's Nicolas Joey did a great save. Nicolas Joey took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dieter Breves, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Dieter Breves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 69 minutes into the match, Dieter Breves notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of FC ARK CS's Nicolas Joey. Nicolas Joey was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Nicolas Joey made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dieter Breves in the 73rd minute of play. Dieter Breves struck a weak shot in the 75th minute. Nicolas Joey didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for LKS Do Bigosu. Gwidon Podwojski kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. LKS Do Bigosu's Rostyslav Solodkyi got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Júlio Severo in the 81st minute of play forced LKS Do Bigosu's goalkeeper Nuşirävan Cäbrayilov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Borys Zagrobelny replaced Dieter Breves. In the 90th minute Bryan White shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nuşirävan Cäbrayilov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The LKS Do Bigosu supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing LKS Do Bigosu would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
