Caaguazu's Olo Uriarte played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Blas Beila in the 22nd minute of play. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.
The wind increased when Jorge Torcida made the kick off in the second half. Marciano Pettinelli might have been able to make a better finish in the 50th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Olo Uriarte. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Marciano Pettinelli ran back to his position shaking his head. Pablo Innocenzio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Olo Uriarte having to interfere. Olo Uriarte came out of the goal in the 57th minute to try and stop a shot by Gladiadores's Blas Beila. But to his dismay, Blas Beila quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Gladiadores's Daniel Urbasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Malvin Vidaurre in the 62nd minute of play. Gavino Cresconio kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Caaguazu's Juango Camposa got a free kick in the 63rd minute. In the 64th minute, Marciano Pettinelli got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 69th minute Gabriel Labiada shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Daniel Urbasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Gladiadores fans' excitement grew in the 75th match minute when Gladiadores's Blas Beila looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Caaguazu's Gilesindo Tarapiella was substituted for Frederico Freijo. Caaguazu's Mauro Bocaran was substituted for Gabriel Labiada.
