DARAS's Dido Levicharov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vinicio Junior in the 9th minute of play. 11 minutes had been played when some careless play by DARAS's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Arsenio Gipuzkoa was slow to take the kick. During this time Jenipapo SC's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Jenipapo SC's Maurício Arósio to a score. 0-2 in the 11th minute. David Seaman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roger Milla, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 35 minutes of play, Jenipapo SC's Aníbal Alagoano made it 0-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dido Levicharov was left in no man's land by his defense there! DARAS's Dido Levicharov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aníbal Alagoano in the 40th minute of play. Dido Levicharov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Raphael Cunha in the 41st minute of play. 44 minutes into the game, Raphael Cunha cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-6. Dido Levicharov was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-6 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Roger Milla was the one to do the kick off. After some careless play in the DARAS defense, Aníbal Alagoano kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dido Levicharov. The DARAS fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dido Levicharov should have stopped the shot. 54 minutes into the game, Jenipapo SC's Raphael Cunha nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dido Levicharov made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-8. 57 minutes into the match, Vinicio Junior dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Dido Levicharov, 0-9. Dido Levicharov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aníbal Alagoano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 62nd match minute, DARAS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vergil Gushev to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Raphael Cunha got free with Dido Levicharov in the 63rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Dido Levicharov came out of the goal in the 66th minute to try and stop a shot by Jenipapo SC's Raphael Cunha. But to his dismay, Raphael Cunha quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-10. 75 minutes into the match, Aníbal Alagoano notched a goal, 0-11, to the right of DARAS's Dido Levicharov. Dido Levicharov was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 80th minute Roger Milla shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but David Seaman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 86th minute, Jenipapo SC's Vinicio Junior dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-12. When Aníbal Alagoano came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the Jenipapo SC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aníbal Alagoano couldn't finish the play. 93 minutes into the game, Zé Carlos Monteiro recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Dido Levicharov. Zé Carlos Monteiro showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-13. The DARAS fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Jenipapo SC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
