Ares FC -MM-'s Luca Jivulescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Torbjörn Hökqvist in the 7th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Baal Ares's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Saverio Fidele was relentless in the 12th minute of the game. When Lucrețiu Cuculeanu came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the Ares FC -MM- fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lucrețiu Cuculeanu couldn't finish the play. 21 minutes into the match, Baal Ares notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Chelco FC's Saverio Fidele. Saverio Fidele was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Ares FC -MM-'s Luca Jivulescu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to save Ares FC -MM- from getting a goal against them. When Ares FC -MM-'s Baal Ares in the 27th minute got a chance for a shot 27th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Torbjörn Hökqvist was the one to do the kick off. After some careless play in the Chelco FC defense, Baal Ares kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Saverio Fidele. The Chelco FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Saverio Fidele should have stopped the shot. Ares FC -MM-'s attentive Zé Augusto Maciel managed to snatch the ball when Jacobo Marino made a throw-in in the 57th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Baal Ares in the 66th minute of play forced Chelco FC's goalkeeper Saverio Fidele to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luca Jivulescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ciro Pellegrini, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 77 played minutes Chelco FC got a freekick which was hit by Jacobo Marino. Luca Jivulescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ciro Pellegrini, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. The supporters of Ares FC -MM- booed when Chelco FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jacobo Marino didn't get a good kick on the ball. 91 minutes into the match, Chelco FC's goal looked a bit too open when Baal Ares came free, but Saverio Fidele reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Ares FC -MM- walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
