Emmanuel Gigliotti replaced Daniel Resende. 76 minutes into the match, Alvi Boton's goal looked a bit too open when Emmanuel Gigliotti came free, but Afonso Veloso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 95th minute Esequiel Barco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Afonso Veloso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Afonso Veloso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emmanuel Gigliotti in the 97th minute of play. For all the effort they put into the match, the Alvi Boton players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Curumalán AFC.
