The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Francesco Cilli took the ball and in the 2 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Laércio Sá. Laércio Sá dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Laércio Sá showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tadeo Ederono in the 6th minute of the match. After having played for 8 minutes, Aristide Iureș managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Paunero's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aristide Iureș was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tadeo Ederono in the 9th minute of play forced Psiu!'s goalkeeper Laércio Sá to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 12 played minutes Psiu! got a freekick which was hit by Kléberson Bezerra. When Paunero's Tadeo Ederono in the 13th minute got a chance for a shot 13th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Psiu!'s goalie prevented a goal. Paunero's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Jose Rosario in the 14th minute. Tadeo Ederono might have been able to make a better finish in the 18th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Laércio Sá. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tadeo Ederono ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tadeo Ederono in the 18th minute of play forced Psiu!'s goalkeeper Laércio Sá to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Laércio Sá didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Francesco Cilli went, in the 21st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. When Paunero's Tadeo Ederono in the 25th minute got a chance for a shot 25th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Psiu!'s goalie prevented a goal. Laércio Sá didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Paunero's Tadeo Ederono shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 0-3 in the ordered_time% minute. Psiu!'s Laércio Sá played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tadeo Ederono in the 45th minute of play. If Tadeo Ederono had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Laércio Sá stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tadeo Ederono's shot from short distance in the 52nd minute. In the 53rdth minute of the game Tadeo Ederono who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Psiu!'s Laércio Sá was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 54th minute, Sydney Gonçalves hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Francesco Cilli received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Laércio Sá tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Paunero's Vinicio Palos was substituted for Cristian Peli. Tadeo Ederono succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-7 in the 65th playminute. 69 minutes into the match, Tadeo Ederono notched a goal, 0-8, to the right of Psiu!'s Laércio Sá. Laércio Sá was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The supporters of Psiu! booed when Paunero was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jose Rosario didn't get a good kick on the ball. Laércio Sá was out of position in the 75 minute of play, and Francesco Cilli capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Francesco Cilli really showed his touch with that goal: 0-9. Tadeo Ederono took the ball and in the 78 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Laércio Sá. Laércio Sá dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-10. Tadeo Ederono received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Laércio Sá tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Paunero's Albino Inguma played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sydney Gonçalves in the 83rd minute of play. In the 84th minute Francesco Cilli shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Laércio Sá saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Leopoldo Linares fell near the penalty area in the 87th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Psiu!'s protests and gave Leopoldo Linares a yellow card for diving instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tadeo Ederono in the 88th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Laércio Sá saved Psiu! from getting behind. The Paunero fans' excitement grew in the 88th match minute when Paunero's Tadeo Ederono looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-11 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After a rather tough play, Paunero's Francesco Cilli got a free kick in the 91st minute. Kléberson Bezerra hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. The long shot by Jose Rosario in the 93rd minute really tested Laércio Sá's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Francesco Cilli got free with Laércio Sá in the 94th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Francesco Cilli received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Laércio Sá came out and tried to block the shot, but Francesco Cilli slotted it home off the left post making it 0-12 in the 94th minute. Paunero's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
