Joel Lindman struck a weak shot in the 13th minute. Laércio Sá didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for AC United. In the 14thth minute of the game 石庭军 who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Psiu!'s Laércio Sá was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 石庭军 received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Laércio Sá tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 18 minutes into the match, AC United's goal looked a bit too open when Mané Castro came free, but Alf Engman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Orvar Fribäck hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. After 23rd play minutes 石庭军 shot 1-0, a short shot which went by Laércio Sá and just under the crossbar into goal. Arne Alén hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. In the 26th minute the ball was on its way in behind AC United's goalkeeper Alf Engman, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After having played for 32 minutes, 石庭军 managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. AC United's supporters crossed their fingers, but 石庭军 was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 34th minute, Orvar Fribäck got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If 石庭军 had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sydney Gonçalves fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alf Engman having to interfere. If Joel Lindman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 46 played minutes AC United got a freekick which was hit by Orvar Fribäck. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Sydney Gonçalves stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Joel Lindman recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 50th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Joel Lindman in the 52nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Laércio Sá prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Psiu!'s Laércio Sá played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by 石庭军 in the 64th minute of play. 65 minutes into the game, Afonso Galvão was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Psiu!'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave AC United the free kick. The supporters of AC United booed when Psiu! was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Afonso Galvão didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 68th minute, Kléberson Bezerra hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Laércio Sá showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arne Alén, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. After 73 minutes, 曲明强 mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Psiu! and the AC United players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Psiu! getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. 曲明强 hit a great ball. 74 minutes into the match, Joel Lindman had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Laércio Sá. Psiu!'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Joel Lindman was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. Alf Engman was out of position in the 77 minute of play, and Sydney Gonçalves capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Sydney Gonçalves really showed his touch with that goal: 3-2. After some fancy dribbling in the 83rd minute, Mané Castro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Psiu!'s supporters rose to their feet, but Mané Castro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alf Engman breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Bernt Carlberg came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the AC United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bernt Carlberg couldn't finish the play. After 91 played minutes Psiu! got a freekick which was hit by Maicon Sousa. AC United's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
