After 28 played minutes M.⑪.M. got a freekick which was hit by Ferdinand Burghelea. The audience was convinced that Oscar Udalaitz's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but George Wynant was relentless in the 33rd minute of the game. Sebastián Junes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Raúl van Beek, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Isidoro Lugo to make the kick off. George Wynant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jacinto Abaunza, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute.
